Bocadillo is located inside of St. Phillips Bakery, which has been family owned and run for three generations, dating back to 1968. Their specialties lie in artisan bread making, and a hot table full of classic Italian food. But one of the most popular items on their menu is their pizza, made to perfection. The pizza is cooked perfectly, with a crisp crust, and a sauce that will have you licking your fingers when you’re done. They have every topping you can imagine, with any ingredient you crave including an Italian salami that just adds to the pizza’s divine taste. Nino D’Aversa has been catering to their clients since 1969. What started as a simple bakery producing bread related products, eventually grew and grew into what it is today - trattoria, pizzeria, pasticerria, and gelateria. The aromas of homemade lasagna, veal, soups, breads and other delights take over your senses when you open the door to Emily’s Bakery. It’s like walking into Nonna’s kitchen on a Sunday afternoon. This bakery has been a staple part of its community for 6 years and is known for their unique style of bread. New owners Sana Alkhouri and Diego Diaz took over the business a year and a half ago, and have continued to satisfy their customers with their services, which also includes catering. On the weekend the bakery packs up so much you’ll be waiting a while, but it’s worth the wait considering they make a perfect espresso. More
